The Feale is a fast flowing spate river that rises in the mountains of Cork, near Rock Chapel, and flows approximately 46 miles through the towns of Abbeyfeale and Listowel before passing under Finuge Bridge on its way to the sea at Ballybunion.

Club waters begin approximately 1km above Scartlea Dam on ‘Galvins’ side and finish about 1.5Km below Finuge Bridge on the Killocrim side


The fishing season extends from March 1st to September 30th.    Salmon run all season while the main run of sea trout starts in June although there is an earlier run of larger ‘Spring Trout’ in April/May.

Fishing is strictly open to club members only and those with valid permits.
